July till October of 2018 we travelled through South America.  We started in Brazil, headed west to Bolivia, up through Peru, Ecuador and ended in Colombia.  This truly is one amazing continent and we barely scratched the surface.  There are so many places we want to revisit, so many places we want to spend more time at, so many places we heard of but had no time, not to mention the countries we did not even touch.  We do not think one lifetime is enough to truly explore all the amazing creation of this amazing continent.  If you were wondering whether to put South America on your to-do travel list, stop wondering and just do it!
